Have a cuppa!

This is a card we made at my classes this week.
The stamp set is Sip by Sip. I have used Close to Cocoa for the base, Old Olive cardstock and ribbon and the Haiku Designer Series Paper. The coffee pot was stamped as a background in Close to Cocoa ink and the cups were stamped in Basic Brown and then coloured using a blender pen and Close to Cocoa, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie. The middle cup was stamped again, coloured and mounted up and then covered with Crystal Effects.
I look forward to seeing some of you at my workshop on Sunday.
Don't forget you have until the end of March to spend $100 and get one of four exclusive stamp sets for FREE! Contact me for details.
I hope you have some time for stamping or scrapping this weekend.
cheers

Step Cards

Good afternoon
I thought I would show you some step cards I made. All images are © Stampin' Up!®. The first one we made in my classes this week. It uses the Bella Bleu Designer Series Paper and Not Quite Navy and Very Vanilla card stock with a little bit of Kraft cardstock behind the flower.
I made this card for my friend Raelee for her 6oth birthday. She isn't keen on flowers and loves giraffes so I made her a card using the Animal Stories stamp set.
This is a side view showing you the folds.
I hope you enjoyed the cards, they are so easy to make. Email me if you want the directions.
Happy Stamping

Eastern Blooms

It is a while since I have used the Eastern Blooms stamp set so thought I would pull it out for a card for my classes this week.

I have used the Pacific Point Patterns Designer Series Paper and ink. The scallop circle and 1 3/8" circle are both mounted up.

I am also taking names for my 300 club. All you have to do is commit to spending a minimum of $30 per month (before postage and handling) for ten months. You will be the hostess for one of the months and receive the hostess benefits - hostess stamp set and money to spend. Just email me if you would like to join the club.

Fundraiser for Haiti

On 12 January 2010, a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti, leaving in its wake devastation so overwhelming that the Haitian people and their leaders can only look for help from the outside to cope. From now until 28 February 2010, $2 from every I ♥ Hearts stamp set sold will be donated by Stampin’ Up!® to the American Red Cross' Haiti Relief and Development Fund. The Red Cross is already well-established in Haiti, and this money will be used to provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need.

I am so pleased to be with a company like Stampin’ Up!® that has a heart in times of need. If you wish to purchase this stamp set, I will take my demonstrator discount off the price and sell it for $37.30 including postage and handling (normally $45.10 with postage and handling). You can include this in a $100 order (before p&H) and qualify for a FREE stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration brochure.

I have to go get ready for my class tonight so hope you have a great evening.

best wishes

Roz

Sale-A-Bration

I had a lovely evening last night celebrating my friend Raelee's birthday. It was a double celebration for Raelee and her husband Geoff and it was a lovely night spent on a boat cruising around Lake Burley Griffin.

I thought I would show you a couple of cards I designed using the Sale-A-Bration set Happy Moments. You can get this set or your choice of three others when you purchase $100 in product up until 31 March 2010. If you would like to put an order in and chose a free stamp set, just phone or email me.

The first card has Cameo Coral as the card base followed by a layer of Almost Amethyst and then Whisper White. The flowers have been stamped in Black Stazon and then coloured in with Blender Pens and stamp pad lids in Cameo Coral, Almost Amethyst, So Saffron and Old Olive for the leaves and greeting. The vases are punched using the large oval and cameo coral, then put through the corrugator and both ends cut off. They are layered up with dimensionals.

This card has a base of Riding Hood Red then a layer of whiser white with the eyelet border edge and then a layer of Kiwi Kiss. The four squares were punched out of Bella Rose Designer Series Paper using the 1 1/4" punch and then the edges daubed in Riding Hood Red. The cake from the Happy Moments set has been stamped in Black Stazon on Whisper White cardstock, coloured in Pink Pirouette and Riding Hood Red and punched out with the 1 3/8" circle punch and layerd up with dimensinals on a Riding Hood Red Scallop Circle. The greeting is from Sincere Saluations.

I hope you enjoy the cards.

Happy stamping.

Back again!

Good morning all

It has been a while since my last blog but here I am. This post is for Pam, who is recovering from an operation - hope you are on the mend Pam! Get well wishes also go to James who is having his tonsils out today. I know you will be a big brave boy James, and I am so jealous that you get to eat ALL the ice-cream that you want!

I am showing you some items we have made at previous classes. The first is a mini file folder. There are lots of patterns for this about but I am using the directions from Bridget Larsen who was kind enough to give me one before Christmas. You can see Bridget's blog by clicking on her full name.

I have used Pink Pirouette cardstock and Candy Lane Designer Series Paper.

The next one is an easel card. The great thing about Easel Cards is that they fold flat for postage. In this one I have used Perfect Plum and Pale Plum cardstock and the Razzle Dazzle Stamp Set from the Summer Mini Catalogue.

Hope you are all having a great day.
Happy stamping.
